President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has charged to create working group to study the experience of Chinese companies in the field of disposal and recycling of solid waste, reported the press service of the head of the Republic.

Minnikhanov on Friday met with representatives of the Chinese Corporation of engineering (CAMCE) and China Corporation for environmental protection (CNEPG). The Chinese delegation arrived in Kazan with a working visit, during which has already held meetings and negotiations in several areas.

«Following the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov asked to establish a working group to study the experience of Chinese colleagues in terms of disposal and recycling of solid waste, a detailed study of the issues. The working group will include representatives of the Ministry of ecology and natural resources of Tatarstan, the Ministry of construction, architecture and housing of Tatarstan and Kazan mayor’s office and others», — is spoken in the message.

According to the press service, representatives of Chinese companies said that they are ready to assist in the development of recycling and solid waste management, establishing cooperation and exchange of experience in this field. Speaking about the disposal of solid waste, they said: research suggests that the structure of the garbage in China and in Russia are similar in many characteristics, including what is paid little attention to his sorting. This gives you the opportunity to use the experience of China in terms of disposal and recycling of solid waste.

«We know that the project of waste recycling plant in Tatarstan will become the first in Russia and will continue to be important, and are happy to share their experiences,» said representatives of the company CNEPG.

CNEPG is a subsidiary of the Chinese Corporation for energy conservation and environmental protection. Since 2000, the company engaged in the development and implementation of new technologies in the field of water resources, production of new materials and disposal of solid waste. CNEPG engaged in pilot projects in the field of environmental protection.
