The Minister of defence of the USA James Mattis said that he was not going to attend the Olympic games 2018 in the South Korean city of Pyeongchang.

«No, I’m busy, I have work,» he said in an interview with reporters, the transcript of which was circulated by the Pentagon.

The question of whether Mattis to visit the Olympics, was asked in the context of a discussion on security on the Korean Peninsula. In this regard, the Minister noted that the United States was still studying the recent North Korea testing Intercontinental ballistic missiles.
