Police opened a criminal case on the fact of attempt of capture of the Oktyabrsky Palace in Central Kiev, said the first Deputy head of national police of Ukraine Vyacheslav Abroskin in Facebook.

Supporters of the former President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili after Sunday Veche tried to storm the October Palace, where the concert was held. In the building clashed with the security forces.

Later after the call Saakashvili most of the protesters left the Palace and went to the Verkhovna Rada. They stated that the incident was the result of provocation and that are supporters of peaceful protest.

«In the October Palace is a children’s holiday, and this time the protesters are trying to capture this building… On this fact the criminal proceedings. All those involved in the seizure of the building will be installed. The perpetrators will be brought to justice. Most likely, someone desperately needs a place for the winter», — Abroskin wrote.

In turn, the first Vice-speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Iryna Gerashchenko called such actions «terrorism» and called on the Parliament to assess the incident. «This terrorism is a real danger to the life and health of Ukrainians. It should get a public condemnation of the Parliament», — wrote Gerashchenko in Facebook.
