Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday, December 18 will be awarded in the Kremlin the state awards for achievements in the field of human rights and charitable activities of the winners of the 2017, reported the press service of the Kremlin.

«Eighteenth of December, Vladimir Putin handed in the Kremlin, the state prize for outstanding achievements in the field of human rights and charitable activities of the winners of 2017», — stated in the message.

It is noted that the award for outstanding achievement in the field of human rights Affairs awarded this year to the Chairman of the Moscow Helsinki group Lyudmila Alexeyeva. Also a winner was the Chairman of the charity Foundation for children with leukemia, named after A. Vavilova, Vladimir Vavilov (RT).

It is reported, two national awards for achievements in human rights and charitable activities, was established by presidential decree, in 2015, their first winners were the Director of the NGO «Children’s Hospice» Alexander Tkachenko, Elizaveta Glinka.
