Law enforcement agencies of Kyrgyzstan dismantled a clandestine extremist cell, detaining 11 supporters of the banned in Russia and the Republic of the terrorist organization «Hizb ut-Tahrir»*, told RIA Novosti on Monday the representative a press-services ministries of internal Affairs of the country.

«The police together with the state Committee of national security of the Republic within the framework of the criminal case, the police searched the place of residence 11 citizens, active functionaries of the extremist underground REO «Hizb ut-Tahrir»* living on the territory of Bishkek city, Chui and Issyk-Kul regions. According to the source Agency, all of these citizens are taken into custody. Among the detainees — the leader of the REO «Hizb ut-Tahrir» *K. N., Born in 1982, native of the southern Osh region, currently residing in Chui oblast of the country, added the Agency.

«Currently, there are additional operational and investigative activities», — said the interior Ministry.

Law enforcement agencies are taking a range of measures aimed at ensuring public order, prevention of actions of extremist religious organizations and organized criminal groups, recalled in the Ministry.

«The party of Islamic liberation»* («Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami»)* in some countries as terrorist, in Russia banned by the Supreme court of the Russian Federation from 2003. The purpose of the organization — the elimination of non-Muslim governments and establish Islamic rule worldwide by establishing a «worldwide Islamic Caliphate».
