Restored pre-revolutionary tsarist gates will be installed in the new Church in honour of Saint Spyridon, Bishop of trimythous, under construction on the street Barclay, told RIA Novosti press-service of the construction supervisor, the Advisor to the mayor Deputy Vladimir resin.

They went to the parish «inherited» from the pre-revolutionary Church, destroyed during the years of Soviet power. The parish has carried out restoration work, and now the gates are waiting for the completion of construction», — stated in the message.

Currently, the builders finished the walls, installed concrete drum under the dome. The next task is to close the contour of the building and begin the interior decoration. For several years the parish tried to negotiate the land for the construction of a temple in the Western division, but was refused at different points. Just after the start of the «Program of building of Orthodox temples in Moscow» managed to pick up and harmonize the area in the street Barklaya.

In addition, according to the press service of Resina, subject to the annexed to Moscow territories by the construction program of churches is growing. Many regions have asked the program participants with a request to share the experience in management, fundraising and, of course, projects of repeated application.

According to the press service, at the moment more than 60 temples built almost the same in construction, 70 addresses are active design work: most projects are already completed, some in work or preparing to design. More than 110 temporary chapels installed, generated over 150 new parishes.

The main objective of the program of building new churches in the capital — to remove the lack of «temples walking distance» in residential areas. The program is actively implemented since 2011. It is also called the «Program 200» — the number of the planned construction of the parish complex. In recent years, the scale of construction was increased at the expense of territories of «New Moscow». The program is implemented entirely on the donations of citizens and organizations.
