The President of the United States Donald trump expressed hope for normalization of relations with Cuba, noting that Cuba now operates incorrectly.

«I hope that everything is back to normal with Cuba, but now they are not doing the right thing. And when they are wrong, we won’t do the right thing. We must be firm with Cuba,» said trump told reporters.

He noted that the people of Cuba «incredible people» and they «very much support».

The United States and Cuba announced in late 2014, about the beginning of a gradual normalization of relations. In July 2015, the countries have restored diplomatic relations. The parties subsequently signed a number of bilateral agreements, although the trade embargo against Cuba imposed by the U.S. Congress, it has not been cancelled.

However, in June of this year, the US President, trump announced the cancellation of «erroneous» policy of his predecessor to normalize relations with Havana. The White house noted that the United States remain imposed against Cuba embargo and oppose calls from the UN and other international organizations for its abolition.

Also the Cuban foreign Ministry condemned the expulsion of a large group of diplomats from the Embassy in Washington, a serious blow to the work of the Cuban diplomatic mission, and the decision to cancel the visits of official delegations from the United States on liberty Island.
