China endorsed the agreement on the Iranian atom

Foreign Minister Wang Yi in a telephone conversation with Minister of foreign Affairs of Iran Javad Zarif endorsed the agreement reached in 2015, the agreement on the Iranian atom and encouraged to solve problems encountered in the implementation process, through dialogue. This is stated in the message of the foreign Ministry of China.

The interview took place on Tuesday at the initiative of the Iranian side.

«China supports the comprehensive agreement on the Iranian nuclear issue. All parties should, through dialogue and consultation to resolve issues arising in connection with the implementation of the agreement. The Chinese side is ready to continue to play a constructive role in this issue,» said Wang, quoted by the foreign Ministry of China.

The Iranian Minister, in turn, gave a high appraisal to the active role of China and expressed readiness together with all parties to fully implement its obligations under the agreement.

The sides also exchanged views on bilateral relations and issues of regional agenda.
