The Ukrainian resolution on the situation of human rights in Crimea, adopted by the UN General Assembly, does not reflect the real situation in the Crimea and broadcasts propaganda myths of Kiev, said the head of the Republic Sergey Aksenov.

The UN General Assembly adopted on Tuesday, the Ukrainian resolution on the situation of human rights in Crimea. The resolution was voted 70, against — 26, 76 countries abstained. Among those who supported the initiative — the majority of European countries and the USA, as well as Georgia. In particular, the General Assembly condemned «the current temporary occupation by the Russian Federation of the territory of Ukraine,» reiterating «the non-recognition of its annexation». In the document Russia «urge» to carry out 12 recommendations to «put an immediate end to all violations and abuses of human rights against the inhabitants of Crimea».

«This resolution reflects neither the real situation in the Crimea, or the Crimean opinions, and broadcasts the propaganda myths of Kiev. The terrorist regime in Kiev has no right to talk about human rights. I believe that such resolutions undermined the credibility of the UN», — wrote Aksenov on his page in Facebook.

He reminded that the decision on reunification with Russia was a free choice of the Crimean people.

The head of the Crimea stressed that for another resolution proposed by Russia on combating glorification of Nazism, the United Nations General Assembly voted 133 countries. «This document was supported by 133 countries, i.e. the majority of the world community. Made only against the Ukraine and the USA. Rogue countries», — said Aksenov.
