The US Treasury explained the introduction of Kadyrov in the sanctions list

The President of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, included in the sanctions list of the USA with the wording «for violation of human rights,» reads the official message of the U.S. Treasury placed at the disposal of RIA Novosti.

«Ramzan Kadyrov – for… gross violations recognized by all the international community of human rights… such as freedom of religion, freedom of expression, Assembly, right to a fair trial and democratic elections in Russia», — reports the Agency.

The document says that Kadyrov is in control of the administration, allegedly involved in the disappearances and killings «without trial». Also, the U.S. Treasury has suspected the head of Chechnya, the actions against political opponents.
