The convicted ex-GRU Colonel Kvachkov returned to jail from hospital, said to RIA Novosti Andrei Bykanov.

«After Vladimir Kvachkov was transferred back to jail. He had some teeth problems lately. After treatment we will have another trial in Moscow», — said the Agency interlocutor.

As told Bykanov, Russia’s Supreme court on December 28 to check the legality of the sentence of ex-GRU Colonel Vladimir Kvachkov.

Earlier it was reported that 69-year-old Kvachkov after the verdict was placed in one of medical institutions of Samara. The lawyer of the former GRU Colonel Sergei Orlov said that the condition of his client had sharply deteriorated on the basis of stress.

The Volga district military court had previously added 1.5 years in a penal colony by the deadline Kvachkova in the case of an extremist video. The former Colonel, is already serving a sentence for the preparation of an armed rebellion, was found guilty of inciting hatred and enmity. The prosecution asked for him three years in prison. Protection insisted on absence of structure of a crime. According to case papers, in June 2015 Kvachkov recorded from a colony on cellphone video that was later posted online for free access.

Fame Kvachkov received in 2005 when he was charged in the assassination of one of the most influential people in the Russian government 1990-2000-ies, now the head of «RUSNANO» Anatoly Chubais. After three years of imprisonment Kvachkov was acquitted, but the next day the court arrested him on new charges of preparing an armed rebellion. In February 2013 the Moscow city court sentenced Kvachkov to 13 years of imprisonment, and later the Supreme court reduced the sentence to eight years.
