Sberbank has launched a process of mass robotization, but the sharp reduction of jobs because it will not, because the staff still have time to learn a new specialty, said the head of the largest Russian Bank Herman Gref.

«What is happening in the world today is the exponential growth of technology, which will provide us all a very serious impact, and it will be regardless of our conversations with you. If three years ago someone in the audience said that the Bank will seriously pursue robotics, I would have laughed,» said Gref in a straight line with the Bank’s employees.

According to him, next year the Bank will create 30 robotic centers cash circulation. Gref drew attention to the dynamics: in 2016, we have created three such centers, in the expiring 2017 — five.

«That is the process of mass robotization has gone. This, of course, can not disturb us… we are on this process can not affect, it will overtake us anyway… but we have time before the potential onset of this threat,» — said Gref.

«Tomorrow nobody will be cut, tomorrow robots will not come. We have all the opportunities to master new skills. We will not have any sharp rise… a sharp reduction in seats will not be», — assured the head of Sberbank.
