The law regulating the media-registered as foreign agents in Russia can only affect individuals receiving government funding from countries with restricted media of the Russian Federation, said the head of the state Duma Committee on information policy Leonid Levin.

«When we talk about individuals we are talking only about those who receive funding from government sources either directly or indirectly in those countries where there is a limitation on the work of Russian media,» said Levin told reporters.
