The Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia, Kirill urged the clergy and all Orthodox faithful to intensify prayers for peace in Ukraine. The Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church spoke on Thursday at the annual meeting of the Diocesan Assembly of Moscow.

Currently in Ukraine there are several churches of the Orthodox rite is recognized by all local Orthodox churches, the UOC-MP and UOC-Kyivan Patriarchate, the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church (UAOC), Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church.
