The specialists of rocket-space Corporation (RKK) «Energy» while studying the possibility of sending a manned spacecraft «Soyuz MS-08» to the International space station at the new cropped double scheme, told RIA Novosti press-center of «Energy».

Earlier media has published reports that «Soyuz MS-08» went to the ISS on a two-day scheme on 15 March 2018.

«Flight double new scheme will be worked out on the cargo transport ship «Progress MC-08» in February. The results will be analyzed. Based on these results a decision will be made on the application schematic on the next «Union», — said the press center.

That truck «Progress MS-08» will be sent in early February following a shortened double scheme, earlier told reporters the head flight of Russian segment of the ISS Vladimir Solovyov.

However, as previously reported RIA Novosti source, the next crew of the ISS with a high degree of probability yet will not fly under the new scheme, even if the test truck «Progress MS-08» in February of 2018 at the three-hour flight to the station will be successful. Scheduled for March 15, the flight of manned «Soyuz MS-08» while it is planned to hold a two-day scheme.

Currently the fastest way to get to the ISS is flying at chetyrehvalkovoj scheme. It was first implemented in 2012 with the launch of the cargo ship «Progress». The first manned flight under the new scheme were made on 29 March 2013 with the launch of the spacecraft «Soyuz TMA-08». A traditional one scheme, when from the start till the Assembly takes about 50 hours.
