A citizen of North Korea tried to smuggle out of Pyongyang, to Russia 24 cartons of cigarettes of unknown origin, goods are detained at the airport of Vladivostok, the press service of the Vladivostok customs.

«In the course of customs clearance of passengers and baggage arriving on a flight from Pyongyang, officials of the customs post of the Airport of Vladivostok Vladivostok customs in the customs control, were discovered and arrested 4800 cigarettes. In the Luggage of a citizen of North Korea were 24 cartons of cigarettes: one unit of blue color (the amount of cigarettes of 200 pieces); seven red blocks; 16 — yellow color. Country of origin cartons of cigarettes unknown», — stated in the message.

According to the press service, the cigarettes purchased by the North Koreans in Pyongyang and imported for personal use are goods which are prohibited to import on customs territory of the customs Union.

For the offense penalized by an administrative fine of from 1000 to 2500 rubles with confiscation of goods.
