Russia hopes to reach agreement with Britain that the Russian company after Brexit continued their normal activities in that country, said Russian foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at a press conference with his British counterpart Boris Johnson.

«We noted the need to also consider the theme associated with the consequences of a British exit from the European Union, primarily from the point of view of the possible impact of a final agreement between London and Brussels on trade and investment ties of Russia with Britain and, consequently, Russia, with the remaining members of the European Union. We expect that the result of these discussions will be an agreement that will allow Russian companies and investors to continue to work in the United Kingdom and in the wider context. Of course, there is work on resolving on a bilateral basis the whole complex of relevant issues arising from this situation,» — said Lavrov.
