Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the interior Ministry, the UK and the FSB to provide the organization with the disclosure and suppress competition-restricting cartels, prohibited by law, published on the Kremlin website of the national development plan competition in Russia in 2018 to 2020.

«MIA, the UK and the FSB to provide organization to the limits of their powers in interaction with Federal Executive authorities on the detection, prevention, suppression and disclosure of agreements restricting competition (cartels) that are prohibited in accordance with the Antimonopoly legislation», — the document says.

On Thursday, Putin signed a decree on the main directions of the state policy for promoting competition. Its main principles are defined ensuring equal opportunities and freedom of economic activities on the territory of the Russian Federation, the development of small and medium enterprises, the impact of public investment on the development of competition. The decree also prescribes policies to reduce the number of state-owned companies.
