Residents of the five houses in the town of Yuryevets, Ivanovo region, where on Friday morning collapsed wall, previously complained to the management company at the cracks in the walls of the building, and the utility was engaged in strengthening of bearing structures, reported RIA Novosti senior assistant head of the regional Department of the RF IC Irina Kotova.

Information about the collapse of the wall of the house №33 along the street Pushkin was admitted to the emergency Department at 6: 15 GMT on Friday. There were no injuries.

«We have conducted the preliminary investigation… Tonight one of the occupants woke up, heard the crash, saw the crack on the wall, Wake the neighbors, allowing residents time to leave their apartments before the collapse of the wall. Previously the tenants of this home have already appealed to the management company over the cracks on the walls of the building. In September 2017, work was done to strengthen the supporting structures of that house,» said Kotova.

Causes of cracking, according to Kotova, will be installed during the inspection. Also the consequence will give a legal assessment to actions of officials of the management company, which serves the house.

According to the Prosecutor’s office which began an investigation on the incident, the house is considered «exemplary», received a certificate of appreciation for the sanitary-epidemiological condition, and even the Windows of the porches of the buildings have plastic Windows. However, according to the prosecution, informed the management company pumped from under standing on the wetland home ground water.
