Russia and Britain should discuss difficult issues in bilateral relations, including differences over Ukraine and cybersecurity, said the head of the British foreign Ministry Boris Johnson at the meeting with the Minister of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov.

«As you quite rightly pointed out, Sergey, there are things in our relationship, on which we will work. When I look at the difficulties in our relationships, whether Ukraine, the Western Balkans or what is happening in cyberprotest, I agree with you that it is important to talk about these things and be sincere in their attitude and recognize that they are obstacles in our relations now,» said Johnson.

He added that beyond these issues is not necessary. «We are permanent members of the UN Security Council we have obligations to our countries and the world to work together for peace and security,» added Johnson, noting that the country can find opportunities for cooperation, where applicable.
