In Peru again hospitalized incarcerated ex-President

The ex-President of Peru, Alberto Fujimori, who is serving a 25-year sentence for corruption and other crimes, on Saturday, was rushed to the hospital due to poor health.

As reported by the portal Comercio his doctor Alejandro Aguinaga, Fujimori was marked by a sharp pressure drop. Against the backdrop of the arrhythmia, the decision was made on admission of the prisoner.

This is not the first case when Fujimori delivered to the hospital. Last time this happened was in September.

Fujimori was President of Peru from 1990 to 2000. During this time he managed to almost completely destroy the left Maoist group «shining path, Sendero» («shining path») for many years to keep the country in fear. The leader of the group, Abimael Guzman received a life prison term.

However, during the years of his reign, Fujimori, according to the findings of the court, mired in corruption and appropriated at least $ 200 million. He also accused the orders of unjust killings during the war with the «senderista», bribes, illegal wiretapping and bribing journalists, politicians and businessmen.

Fujimori is suffering from cancer. Despite his illness, earlier, he was denied clemency and translated under house arrest. According to the presidential Commission on pardons, he does not suffer from a fatal disease, he also has no serious violations of brain activity that could become a condition for clemency on humanitarian grounds.
