The Ministry is considering the possibility of working students exemption from insurance premiums, reported RIA Novosti, Minister of labour and social protection Maxim Topilin.

«We began to discuss the idea that students, when they work part time, exempt from insurance contributions. This will help to promote youth employment», — said Topilin.

He noted that is not yet defined schema, which will be held exempt from payment of insurance premiums. «Any benefit is a transfer, the expense of the Federal budget: if you do not pay the premiums, it is necessary to compensate for the loss of rights. We will reflect on this», — said the Minister.

In a press-service of the Ministry of labor of Russia reported that on October 1, 2017 for registration in employment services was 70.4 thousand unemployed citizens in the age of 16-24 years. «The average duration of unemployment among citizens aged 16-29 years was 4.9 months at the same date», — added in Department.
