Crimea is fully adapted to the transport blockade announced by the Ukrainian authorities three years ago, said RIA Novosti Chairman of the Association of freight carriers and freight forwarders of the Republic Anatoly Curcin.

Ukraine in late December 2014 to unilaterally stopped the movement of buses and trains across the border with the Crimea. Train EN route to the Crimea, now stop at the station Novooleksiyivka (Kherson region), before reaching the border with the Peninsula. The Ukrainian side said that this is a forced but temporary measure. It was later halted the movement of trucks through border posts, the movement of the cars continues.

«The haulage industry is fully adapted to the difficult conditions. Today the carriers of the Crimea dovozili passengers to the checkpoints, passengers alone cross the state border, then on the side of Ukraine they are waiting for the parity bus, a Ukrainian carrier, which continues the route with the passengers to their places of repetition,» — said Churkin.

According to him, all the prohibitions of the Kiev authorities on movement of passenger transport in the Crimea seem helpless, and only create additional inconvenience to its own citizens.

Churkin added that in the Crimea also established a full-fledged delivery of goods, which are imported from the mainland of Russia.

«The Peninsula is fully switched to the new markets of supply and sales», — said Churkin.
