In Saudi Arabia have released more than 20 suspects in corruption

Saudi Arabia has released 23 of the more than 200 detainees since November on charges of corruption, even more detainees will be freed in the coming days, according to the newspaper Okaz.

All freed made a deal with the justice system. Those suspects who continue to deny the charges, will stand trial, the newspaper notes.

«The government wants to close this case as soon as possible», — said the publication, an unnamed source in the official circles.

The names released were not disclosed.

More than 200 people were questioned during the investigation, more than two thousand Bank accounts have been frozen.
