Three regional roads in the Tver region, connecting Tver and Rzhev, Zubtsov city and district of Smolensk, and Tver, and Kalyazin with the Yaroslavl region is planned to transfer in the Federal property, said the Governor of the region Igor Rudenya.

«During the year we plan to conduct work on transfer of these roads. This will improve the level of their content. I hope that together with the Federal centre we will be from year to year to clean up our roads and to do so they become subject to criticism, and an example for others» — gave the press service of the regional government farm, with words.

According to the report, this decision was preceded by consultations of the head of region in the Russian government, with heads of the Ministry of transport and the company «Rosavtodor».

The press service reminded that in 2017 the volume of regional Road Fund amounted to more than 8 billion rubles, or 13.9% of the total expenses of the regional budget. The program of renovations in 2017, was included 76 miles of roads more than in 2016 (224 kilometres). In 2017 significantly increased support for municipalities: construction, reconstruction and repair of roads and yard areas has been directed 1,8 billion roubles. Were also put in order the main streets of the regional centre at the expense of means of city budget of Moscow.

In 2018 in the Tver region it is planned to keep the volume of repair of roads at the level of 2017. First and foremost, the plans will include roads on tourist routes, the areas with high accidents and roads in need of repair which pointed to local residents, said the press service.
