Teenagers from an educational colony in Izhevsk, causing his cuts forearms, demanded exemptions regime, their actions carried a blackmailing character, said Tuesday in a press-service of management of Federal penitentiary service in the Republic of Udmurtia.

Earlier, the representative of the regional government told RIA Novosti that nine teenagers serving sentences in educational colonies, self-inflicted cuts in the night on Tuesday. Their condition is estimated as satisfactory, adolescents had to be hospitalized. The head of Udmurtia Alexander Brechalov took the situation under his personal control, verification of the incident conducted by the regional children’s Ombudsman.

«The actions of the convicts wore demonstratively blackmailing in nature and was committed for the purpose of easing the regime. All convicted prisoners receive the necessary medical care, hospitalization, prisoners do not need», — stated in the message of the FPS.

It was said that teenagers self-inflicted superficial cuts forearms.

The colony is operating normally, is a procedural check, said the press service. On a scene there arrived the management and specialists of the Federal penitentiary service and representatives of the Prosecutor’s office.
