Chinese ships sell oil to the North Korean tankers in the open sea, says South Korean newspaper «Chosun Ilbo» with reference to pictures from American satellites.

According to the newspaper, from space photographs show the Chinese tankers spill oil on a North Korean ship. The sale of oil to North Korea in open sea is forbidden adopted in September by the UN Security Council resolution No. 2375.

«We need to focus on the fact that illegal trade began after the September resolution of the UN Security Council has strongly restricted the import of petroleum products in North Korea» — told the newspaper source in the government.

North Korea, on 3 September announced the successful test of a hydrogen warhead, which is designed to equip Intercontinental ballistic missiles. The military of Japan and South Korea have previously estimated the power of the tested charge 160 kilotons, which is about 10 times the power of the atomic bomb dropped on the Japanese city of Hiroshima in 1945.
