The Kirov district court of Astrakhan fined 90 thousand rubles for the fifth medical student Aydemir Aheeva failure to report for a friend who joined terrorists in Syria, told RIA Novosti the representative of the court.

«Ahev convicted of the offence under section 205.6 of the criminal code (failing to report to authorities authorized to investigate reports of crime, about the person known information have committed crimes under article 208 of the criminal code — organization of participation in an illegal armed formation), and punish with a fine in the amount of 90 thousand rubles», — said the Agency interlocutor.

The preliminary investigation in this case was conducted by the investigative Department of the FSB of Russia in the Astrakhan region. At the hearing the defendant fully admitted his guilt.

Earlier the Kirov court sentenced him to fines of up to 80 thousand roubles, students of the same University Shamil Shakhmalieva, Dzhamalutdinov salavatova, Nariman Mirza Magomedov and Mavletova.

The source in law enforcement bodies of the region told RIA Novosti that the defendant as a previously convicted the students of the medical school, came to Astrakhan from Dagestan and is a student of Astrakhan state medical University. According to the source, the young people studied together with a man who joined the banned terrorist group «Islamic state» and is currently in Syria. The source added that a friend persuaded the defendants to join him.

In February 2017 the Kirov district court of Astrakhan ruled the first Russian sentence to the article about the failure of the «Spring package» in relation to men who did not report on the participation in a terrorist organization «Islamic state». He was sentenced to a fine in the amount of 70 thousand rubles.
