The Zimbabwean authorities have published official information about the benefits to a retired President Robert Mugabe, writes Herald.

The document States that the ex-President will be granted no less than six bodyguards, two drivers, two personal Secretary, two personal assistant and two employees of the office. Thus at the disposal of Mugabe will be given a fully equipped office in any district of the Zimbabwean capital, Harare.

If Mugabe will need a private residence, the area allocated to it should not exceed 5 thousand square meters. The house must have five bedrooms, a guest wing with three bedrooms, pool, two guards at the premises and two garages. The staff of the residence must include at least three domestic workers, two gardeners, two cooks, two waiters and two laundresses. The relevant provisions are published in the section of normative legal acts of the official Gazette.

In late November, the 93-year-old Mugabe, resigned under pressure from the military and the leadership of the ruling party «Zimbabwe African national Union — Patriotic front» (ZANU-PF). Former Vice President of Zimbabwe Emmerson Mnangagwa, the proposed ZANU-PF for the post of head of state will hold office until the next election in August 2018.
