President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed the state budget for 2018 with a deficit of 2.4% of GDP, reported the press service of the head of state on Saturday.

«President Petro Poroshenko has signed the law of Ukraine «On state budget of Ukraine to 2018″, adopted by the Verkhovna Rada on 7 December,» — said the press service.

It is reported that the revenues of the state budget of Ukraine to 2018 is determined in the amount 917,9 billion hryvnia ($33 billion), expenditure – at the level 991,7 billion hryvnia ($35.4 billion).

In this limit the budget deficit determined in the amount of 80,6 billion hryvnia ($2.8 billion), or 2.4% of GDP. The maximum amount of public debt determined in the amount of 1,999 trillion hryvnia (71,3 billion), accounting for 60% of GDP.

The document envisages an increase in the subsistence level of 9% and minimum wages by 16.3%. To Finance the construction of roads will be allocated 47.7 billion hryvnia ($1.7 billion).

It is noted that the law will come into force on 1 January 2018.
