Major US stock indices finished the last trading session in the weak minus, however, the year 2017 has become their best over the past five years, data from American exchanges.

At the end of Friday the Dow Jones has decreased on 0,48% — to 24719,22 points, the index of wide market S&P 500 by 0.52% — up to 2673,61 points, the index high-tech NASDAQ companies by 0.67% to 6903,39 points.

In General, for 2017, the Dow Jones grew 25.1%, set for the 12 months 71 record. The S&P 500 rose 19.4%, the NASDAQ by 28.2%. Thus, Nasdaq is increasing for the sixth consecutive year, for the first time since 1980.

The most significant growth among the companies in the sector of the Dow Jones Industrial Average showed Boeing, whose shares for the year jumped by 90%, Caterpillar (increase 70%) and Apple (47%), the most noticeable drop is General Electric, whose paper went to minus 45%. In the sector of the S&P 500 were Align Technology and NRG Energy, demonstrating a growth of 134% each and the NASDAQ – the company Align Technology (a growth of 134%) and Take-Two Interactive Software (122%).

Meanwhile, trading volumes were the lowest in three years amid political uncertainty. The main factors of growth were hopes for reforms of the President of SSHS Donald trump.
