The US does not intend to abandon military exercises with South Korea due to the Olympic games, said Friday the Minister of defence James Mattis.

To a question he said, «No.»

«I do not consider the question of suspension of the exercise. This issue should be addressed by both countries. I’ll put them on pause for the diplomatic solution, or something like that. But while I don’t expect,» said Mattis, the transcript of a conversation which was spread by the Pentagon.
