The police opened a criminal case on the fact of escape from the colony in the Saratov region the convict Sergey Dubovitsky, who is suspected in the murder of his wife, told RIA Novosti press-service of the regional interior Ministry cupola.

Earlier in SUS’k reported that the body of 38-year-old resident of the village of Kvasnikovka, which is part of the city of Engels were found with stab wounds Friday evening in her home. In the suspected murder of 43-year-old husband of the victim Sergey Dubovitsky, which in that day had escaped from prison and was detained by police officers Saturday night. According to the interior Ministry, the detention of the fugitive resisted and rushed to the detectives with a knife.

«In fact the escape of a convicted Sergey Dubovitsky December 30 employees of Department of inquiry of Department of internal Affairs at the Krasnoarmeyskiy district police initiated a criminal case under article of the criminal code «Escape from prison». Currently, the case is assigned in SUS’k» — said the Agency interlocutor.

In the case of the escape Dubovitskaya faces up to four years of imprisonment.

Dubovitsky in 2014 was convicted of the fight causing severe stab wounds to the villager who stood up for the wife of the convicted in the conflict between the spouses during the feast. The court sentenced Dubovitsky under article of the criminal code of Russian Federation «Deliberate causing of heavy harm to health» to five years in prison, of which he had still to serve for about 1 year and 7 months.

In SUS’k previously reported that the investigation into the murder of his wife Dubovitsky criminal case under article «Murder». According to the children’s Ombudsman in the region Tatiana Zagorodney, the dead woman left eight children, six of which are joint with Dubovickiy. Children placed in a rehabilitation center with psychologists.
