Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law that increases fines up to 500 thousand rubles for the provision of premises or vehicle, or the provision of other services to the foreign citizen or the person without citizenship in the Russian Federation with infringement of the established order or rules of transit through its territory.

Corresponding amendments to KoAP. According to the draft law, for the provision of premises or a vehicle or the provision of other services to the foreign citizen or the person without citizenship in the Russian Federation with infringement of the established order of documents processing for stay, or rules of transit through its territory for citizens provide for penalties from 2 thousand to 5 thousand rubles, for officials — from 35 thousand to 50 thousand rubles, for legal entities — from 400 thousand to 500 thousand rubles.

Currently, there are fines of up to 300 thousand rubles.
