Nineteen people were hospitalized with poisoning in the UK, reported the press service of the Ministry of health of the Moscow region.

«At this point in Lyubertsy regional hospital there are 18 children and one adult. They all came from the Cadet schools of the city district Lyubertsy. The condition of patients is estimated by doctors as average degree of gravity, and is taking antibiotics,» — said the Minister of health of the region Dmitry Markov, who was quoted by the press service.

The victims were admitted with complaints of abdominal pain. The preliminary diagnosis was acute food poisoning.

«In connection with the registration of cases of acute enteric infections among students of the municipal educational institution «Cadet school» in Lyubertsy 13 Jan 2018 Department of Rospotrebnadzor in Moscow region, immediately launched an epidemiological investigation,» — said the press service of the Moscow region Rospotrebnadzor.

«Found that patients showed a clinical picture of acute intestinal infections on the night of 13 January, nine patients were hospitalized in the infectious Department of Lyubertsy district hospital», — added in Department.

According to Rospotrebnadzor, the organizer of power in the educational institution is «the Light» of the Train on the basis of a subcontract with LLC «taste» of the city of Shchelkovo. Specialists of Rospotrebnadzor initiated the inspection of these establishments. Selected samples of raw materials and finished products, drinking water, swabs from equipment, inventory is sampling of biological material from the staff dining room for the presence of pathogens of acute intestinal infections for laboratory research.

«The results of the survey will be taken administrative measures to infringers of sanitary-epidemiological legislation in accordance with the administrative code of the Russian Federation», — reported in Department.
