Nottingham rail station in Central England on Saturday opened after a major fire yesterday, the press service of the Association of railway companies of great Britain National Rail.

«Access to the station opened, will be opened today platform 1 to 5 platforms 6 and 7, however, will remain closed,» — said in the message released on Saturday.

As have informed RIA of news in the local fire service on the eve of a strong fire started early in the morning in the main building of the station on Friday. There were no injuries. Not so long ago the station was opened after an extensive and costly renovation, the project required the involvement of about 50 million pounds.
