Muscovites-winners of all-Russian competition of managers «Leaders of Russia» will be offered internship in the government of the capital, said the mayor Sergey Sobyanin.

«We are already eyeing the people who pass to the semifinals. I am sure that after the analysis of personnel, we have received in the semi-finals and we will surely make suggestions. I’m sure all the finalists-the city will receive proposals at the special training in the government of Moscow», — said Sobyanin at the opening of the second semi-final of the competition in the Central Federal district on Saturday.

He noted that it also intended with the finalists to discuss «their future opportunities, their fate, of course, given the fact that not everyone wants to work in the state authorities».

Sobyanin stressed that the contest «Leaders of Russia» the Moscow government will rethink approach to recruitment. According to him, among the total number of participants (89 thousand) and 37 thousand represent Moscow.

«When it was announced this competition, honestly, I rather expected a more formal history and was very pleasantly surprised that it runs at the highest professional level, and that it involves the number of applicants. This is a real new tradition of recruitment and staffing of the elite,» — said the mayor.

He expressed the hope that the contest «Leaders of Russia» in the future will become a new tradition of formation of personnel potential.

Sobyanin, referring to the semi-finalists said that they will be in demand in Moscow.

«Moscow itself is a huge Corporation, there are about 800 thousand people in a variety of industries: health care, culture, housing, education, construction, transport. Of course, very important for us to have a constant supply of personnel. Very important finances and material resources, but without professional training, without people who have eyes that want to work and who have unique skills, all this does not fly and does not work», — said the mayor.

He added that in Moscow and earlier, there existed the system of selection of the managerial personnel reserve, but it has not such scale as the contest «Leaders of Russia».
