The number of students in medical institutions after a visit to a café in the capital of Buryatia, Ulan-Ude, where the recorded mass outbreak of salmonellosis has increased to 82 people admitted 55 people, reported RIA Novosti the representative of the press service of the Ministry of interior in Buryatia Irina Kazlauskas.

Previously, the administration of Rospotrebnadzor in the region reported that from 11 to 13 January in Ulan-Ude was group the incidence of salmonellosis among those visiting the cafe «Sulan To» from 8 to 11 January, where roughly violate the requirements of sanitary norms. Originally asked for help 57 people with mild to moderate severity of the disease, including eight children aged 10 to 17 years. Hospitalized 45 people, the other 12 patients with mild severity patients are treated in outpatient settings.

«In the medical establishment turned 82. 55 of them were hospitalized. Minors nine people. Heavy is not among them,» said Kazlauskas.

Experts of Rospotrebnadzora liquidated the hotbed of Salmonella infection. To establish the causes of the disease already carried out a survey of the employees of the cafe, produced samples of ready meals, food raw materials, water, swabs, disinfectants. The office noted that the investigation found gross violations of sanitary legislation, which led to the pollution of the production by the causative agent of salmonellosis. Activity cafe suspended.
