Investigators in the Moscow region opened a case on the provision of services that do not meet safety requirements after the mass poisoning of children in the cadet school in Lyubertsy, reported on the website of the RF IC.

The press service of the Ministry of health of Moscow region on January 13 reported on the poisoning of children and one adult in the cadet school of Lyubertsy. On Sunday, the press service of the city administration RIA Novosti reported that according to the latest hospitalized 36 children and three adults.

«A criminal case on the fact of mass poisoning of students MOU «Cadet school of the municipal formation city district Lyubertsy» on signs of the crime provided by article 238 of the criminal code (Production, storage, transportation or sale of the goods and production, performance of works or rendering services not meeting safety requirements)», — stated in the message.

In SK have told that on January 13, law enforcement authorities Lyubertsy received information about the hospitalization of eight children aged 8 to 14 years with symptoms of food poisoning. According to preliminary data, they were poisoned by food in the cadet school.

«It is established that unidentified employees of OOO «Light», providing hot meals to employees and students of the school under the contract of saipanese concluded with OOO «Territoriya Vkusa», which is the contractor on municipal contract in an educational institution, in the course of the day 12 January 2018, in the kitchen of the school, in the preparation of Breakfast and lunch, committed violations of sanitary and epidemiological legislation of the Russian Federation, which resulted in the mass poisoning of citizens, including children,» added the Investigative Committee.

The investigators added that according to Rospotrebnadzor Moscow region in medical institutions received 47 cases of poisoning, of which 39 were minors. Was hospitalized 23 people.

Militiamen and employees of Rospotrebnadzora examined the scene, seized the swabs from working surfaces, equipment and utensils for the appointment of the relevant legal expertise.
