A criminal case against three alleged organizers of the financial pyramid, accused in the kidnapping of more than 200 residents of Bashkortostan 32 million rubles are directed to court, informs the Prosecutor General’s office.

According to authorities, in 2013, three residents of Bashkortostan in age from 29 to 40 years has created a credit consumer cooperative «Rostkapital». To attract customers they rented offices on the crowded main streets of the seven cities of the Republic and organized a wide publicity.

To conclude with citizens agreements, they promised to pay profit on deposits ranging from 18 to 36%. The high rate scams explained promising to invest in highly profitable business, although in fact, such activities are not carried out.

«The organization functioned on the principle of a financial pyramid. This was interest paid to the several citizens at the expense of the money deposited by new customers. To withdraw money from the organization involved in the case had established housing construction cooperatives «Bashstroy». Just from 2013 to 2016 they stole 204 citizens of more than 32 million rubles», — stated in the message Department.

It is noted that some of the money, the accused legalized through the acquisition of land in Ufa and suburbs construction of houses and selling them. Concerning them criminal case under article «Fraud committed by an organized group, in especially large size» and «Legalization of criminal incomes».

«Criminal case is directed to October district court of Ufa for consideration on the merits. To the victim to compensate for damages imposed arrests on property, cars and other property of the defendants totaling more than 22 million rubles», — stated in the release of the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation.
