Monitoring safety on reservoirs and in coastal areas using unmanned aircraft of the new generation it is planned to test in Moscow, reported on the official portal of the mayor and government capital.

According to the report, the drone will transmit video to rescuers in real time. Experimental runs will be held in early June on Borisov ponds in the South of the capital.

According to him, the drone will allow rescuers to see divorced on the banks of a fire or a drowning person. Also the drone can carry loads of up to 1.5 kilograms, including a life vest, which weighs 800 grams.

The drone can fly over the territory of the lagoon for hours without recharging, the report says. The charging device also takes about an hour. It is clarified that the drone was developed by the urban resident of Technopolis «Moscow», the Agency of innovation of Moscow «Open requests».

«If the experiment proves successful, these copters can start to patrol all the beaches and ponds of Moscow», — said the Fursin.
