On the Kamchatka Peninsula in the framework of measures for the conservation of reindeer and the development of reindeer in 2017 hunters produced 46 wolves, according to the regional forestry Agency and conservation of wildlife.

It is noted that measures to reduce the death of the reindeer and to regulate the number of wolves held in the framework of the regional program «Development of agriculture and regulation of markets of agricultural products, raw materials and foodstuffs of the Kamchatka region 2014-2018». Shooting of wolves is conducted on the territories of the Koryak district and Bystrinsky district.

«For a wolf obtained the prize in the amount of 30 thousand rubles. So, last year, Kamchatka hunters were paid $ 1 million 380 thousand rubles actually produced 46 wolves», — stated in the message.

The Agency added that in 2017, had produced 50 bears because they represented a real threat to humans, and more than 370 Lis for the evaluation of the epizootic situation.

Currently on the territory of the region was 20,9 thousand hunters received hunting tickets in the forestry Agency and conservation of wildlife.
