Roscosmos is considering the commercialisation of the Russian segment of the ISS, said Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin, commenting on the conclusions of the journalist, Space News Matthew Bodner and other American media that after the refusal of the US purchase of the Russian space Agency on the Russian manned Soyuz spacecraft and engines for Atlas V the Russian state supposedly would be in a dire financial position.

«As for the MCS that we know the US plans for the commercialization of USOS, similar plans now considering Roscosmos,» — said Rogozin.

He also said that in Russia there were private companies who cooperate with the Russian space Agency, such as the S7 Space. On the way, according to him, several others.

«This is one of the priority tasks of the Russian space Agency will be resolved,» — said Deputy Prime Minister.

Previously the first assistant Director of NASA William Gerstenmaier announced that NASA has no plans to purchase additional seats on the Russian Soyuz spacecraft to deliver astronauts to the ISS after 2019. He added that to ensure uninterrupted flight crew to the ISS, the United States should have its own method of transporting crews to the October-November 2019.

The last commercial flight of an American astronaut on the Russian Soyuz to the ISS is scheduled for spring 2019 with the return in the autumn of 2019. According to NASA, the cost of one seat on the Russian spacecraft costs the United States in the 70-80 million dollars.
