The number of electronic health records (ehr) in Moscow has increased in 2 times in the past year, while one out of every three appointments to the doctor in the clinic was conducted through the Internet, said the head of the Moscow Department of health Alexei Khripun during operational meeting at city hall.

«Every third record to the doctors in Moscow clinics in 2017 were conducted through remote channels, mainly the Internet. Only thus was made 34,2 million records – 13% more than in 2016» — quoted the press service of the city hall of Khripun.

However, he noted the decline in the popularity of the terminals, which are in the clinics. This, according to the head of Department, indicates that citizens prefer to use remote channels and increasing computer literacy of patients.

Khripun said that the number of EHR in 2017 rose 3.1 million to $ 6.3 million cards. The number of subscribed e-prescriptions, according to him, increased by 13% to 13.9 million.
