The trade unions of the French CGT and Ufap-Unsa presented the draft agreement with the government, which must satisfy the requirements of the staff of the French prisons, earlier criticized the security measures in places of detention.

Last week three prison warden in the French commune of Vanden-Le-vieil (Pas de Calais) were injured in an attack by a prisoner serving a sentence for participating in a terrorist attack on a synagogue in Tunisia in 2002. Then in prisons across the country broke out of protests by employees. Amid ongoing protests in various regions of France experienced several attacks of inmates on prison staff.

The text of the draft document published in Facebook Ufap-Unsa. The Protocol provides for the establishment within four years of 1.1 thousand new jobs, «radicalizing prisoners» in «complete isolation» and the additional «human and technical means» of protection for prison staff.

According to Deputy Secretary General of the Union Ufap-Unsa David Besson, speaking on the BFMTV, the document will be submitted for approval to the officials of the prison administration, «and that they will make a decision on whether to sign the document or not.»

French unions called on protesters «to change the shape of the pickets» to understand whether they approve the proposed draft Protocol.
