Ukrainian security forces 11 times violated the ceasefire for the day, told reporters on Sunday in the operational command of the self-proclaimed Donetsk people’s Republic.

«For the past day armed forces of Ukraine 11 times violated the ceasefire. Shelling from the APU been areas of seven villages. The enemy used artillery caliber of 122 mm, mortars, weapons, infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers and small arms», — said the representative of the operational command.

Ukrainian security officials, in turn, said Sunday that militias in the Donbass for the last days six times opened fire on their positions, as a result, five Ukrainian military were wounded.

The contact group on the peaceful settlement of the conflict in Donbas, informed in Minsk agreed to a ceasefire for the new year and Christmas holidays from 23 December. The sides have already accused each other of violating the truce.
