Centre for analysis of threats on Monday reduced the level of terrorist threat in Belgian territory from the third to the second level, the head of the Ministry of interior of the Kingdom Jan Jambon.

«Centre for analysis of threats under the Ministry of interior has lowered the terrorist threat level from the third to the second level,» wrote the Minister on Twitter.

In Belgium, 24 March, 2016 still acted the increased terrorist threat level — the third of the four. The fourth level was introduced in the day of the attacks at the airport and the metro of Brussels, 22 March 2016, and two days later was downgraded to the level of «three», involving «possible and probable» danger of a terrorist attack.
