Memorial evening on the eve of the International day of remembrance of the victims of the Holocaust observed annually on 27 January, will be held on Monday evening in the Moscow theater «Helikon-Opera», told RIA Novosti in the press service of the Russian Jewish Congress, who organized the event.

«The gala evening will bring together about 400 guests. Among them are statesmen and public figures, diplomats, religious leaders and ethnic communities, artists, war veterans, former prisoners of the camps and ghettos. The concert will feature stars of film and classical music: people’s artist of Russia Ksenia Rappoport, pianist Polina Osetinskaya, clarinetist Julian Milkis, the young violinist Anna Zilberberg and orchestra of Moscow musical theatre «Helikon-Opera» under control of conductor Vladimir Altshuler,» — said the press service of the organization.

The concert, called «Yellow star», which will be held in «Helikon-Opera» will be the culmination of a «Week of remembrance» of victims of the Holocaust, which began on January 17.
