Two young habarovchanin convicted of the brutal killing of animals, sent from prison in Khabarovsk, where they were during the investigation and trial, in the colony, told RIA Novosti press-Secretary UFSIN of Khabarovsk Krai Dmitry badanin.Aliona Savchenko recognized as guilty under article «Cruel treatment with animals», «Robbery», «Insulting religious feelings of believers» and «inciting hatred or hostility, and humiliation of human dignity». For all the crimes she was appointed four years and three months imprisonment. Alina Orlova found guilty under article «Cruel treatment with animals» and «Robbery». She was sentenced to three years and ten days imprisonment. In addition, for animal abuse and killing of girls received 150 hours of compulsory work.

Friend convicted Viktor Smyshlyaev was found guilty under article «inciting hatred or hostility, and humiliation of human dignity», he was sentenced to three years in a General regime colony.

In December 2017, having considered the appeal of the convicts, the Khabarovsk regional court has reduced the period of detention for Savchenko to four years, Orlova — up to three years because the Statute of limitations for crimes under article «Cruel treatment with animals» and «insulting the feelings of believers» has expired. Smyshlyaeva sentence upheld.
