The talks between the leaders of Russia and Argentina were constructive, conducive atmosphere, reaffirmed the mood for the ongoing development of bilateral relations and strengthening the partnership, said Russian President Vladimir Putin following Russian-Argentinian talks.

«The talks with President of Argentina Mr. Mauricio Macri passed in a businesslike and constructive atmosphere. We exchanged views on a whole range of issues of bilateral cooperation and set new tasks and long-term objectives of cooperation, touched upon topical issues on the international agenda», — Putin said.

He noted that Russia and Argentina are bound by history and friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation.

«Relations between our countries were established in 1885 and has always been based on the principles of respect and consideration of each other’s interests. In the negotiations with Mr. Macri was re-affirmed attitude to the progressive development of interstate relations, comprehensive strengthening comprehensive strategic partnership», — said Putin.
